A study, for a study – testing the water (oil).

I haven’t painted with oils for more than 10 years, it’s feels good to be back, and working on wood is bringing a new freshness to the whole exercise.

Construction

Building ply wood surfaces to work on, an interesting break from canva and also nice to get my hands dirty with something other than paint. Repetition can be meditative.

Manufactured Landscapes

I just came across photographer Edward Burtynsky’s work, interesting to see the similarity in our philosophies towards subject matter. I’ll definitely be taking a closer look at his work.
